We are a boutique landscape design studio in Nelson, working throughout New Zealand.
Meadow creates large and small scale commercial and residential landscapes across New Zealand within urban, rural and natural environments. Our core services include Commercial Landscape Design, Residential Landscape Design and Exterior Styling.
We believe in capturing the essence of what makes a site unique, unearthing simple design results that celebrate a place and it’s people. We create simple refined outdoor spaces inspired by nature, sense of place, architectural style and the connection of people with their environment.
Our design philosophy is to capture the appreciation of nature, and it’s natural forms and textures while working with honest, organic materials to create comfortable, peaceful spaces.
Heidi Stewart is the Director of Meadow based in Nelson.
Heidi is an experienced landscape architect and has been practising since 2000. During this time she has been involved in a number of large and small scale projects within the public and private realm. She is passionate about landscape design and has received several national awards in the NZILA New Zealand Pride of Place Awards.
Heidi’s design approach is informed by nature, sense of place, architectural style and the connection of people to the space.
Heidi enjoys working collaboratively and has experience at a range of scales from broad scale master planning to conceptual and detailed design.
